                     Willow Plant Climber Kit

Willow Plant Climber Kit

Plant climber kits are ideal for those lacking in experience in willow work, but wishing for quick success. They offer the chance to "get the feel of willow" before moving on to bigger projects. They provide a fun project for older children.

Contents:
12 main uprights
50 1yr weavers

                     Living Willow Dome Kit

Living Willow Dome Kit

This is how the dome will look when first planted. Within a few weeks it will begin to grow & shoot buds.

Contents:
13 main frame rods @ 4-4.5m long
22 intermediates @ 3.5-4m long
One bundle of 80 lattice weavers

Living Willow Lattice Hedge Kit (1.5m high)

Living Willow Lattice Hedge Kit (1.5m high)

The so called "Fedge" is ideal if you want to separate a piece of garden without making a harsh boundary. The fedge will grow and fill in as it shoots, creating an attractive screen effect. A interesting alternative to a traditional hedge or a plain wooden fence.

Contents:
1 large upright
1 intermediate upright
6 1yr lattice rods (per metre)

                     Living Willow Tunnel Kit

Living Willow Tunnel Kit

"Tunnels" can be used to subdivide a large garden or open space. They make an attractive feature that can be as long or short as you wish and as woven & detailed as your imagination & creativity will allow! We do have a standard pattern that we follow but would be delighted to work to your own individual design. Tunnels are also great for children to play in and run through.

Contents (per metre): (Standard design)
4 arch rods for the first metre, 2 arch rods for each subsequent metre
2 intermediate rods and 12 1yr rods
Plus 1 intermediate upright and 6 1yr lattice rods

                     Willow Edging (ready-assembled)

Willow Edging (ready-assembled)

Available to buy in 3 foot lengths (will stand approx. 9/10 inches or 20-30cm high once set into the ground). Edging provides an easy way to outline flower borders or vegetable patches. Can make an attractive feature in even the smallest of gardens. Once again we would be delighted to work to your own design and specification.

                     Willow Chairs (ready-assembled)

Willow Chairs (ready-assembled)

Available as single and double seaters. Comfy to sit in with their high backs, a rustic option to use during the summer months. These chairs are sold untreated as they are made from freshly soaked willows which are more supple to bend. Owing to the high water content when they are built we are unable to treat them. We recommend that to extend the life of the chairs, as with any other dried willow product, they are treated after the willow has dried out (anything from 4-12 weeks or more depending on the season & weather conditions). The traditional method is a 50/50 mix of boiled linseed oil and turpentine, but you may prefer to use creosote or an outdoor wood preservative.
